United Way of Greater New Haven
Due to the inclement weather yesterday, our Neighborhood Pop-Up Pantry was rescheduled to this afternoon. We are still in need of volunteers to help us feed local families. Can you join us?
Help today, Friday, August 28, 2:45 PM – 6:30 PM, as a volunteer and feed your neighbors!
Specific needs include:
Bilingual volunteers are needed, however dual language skills are not required
Volunteers must be able to lift a 30lb. box
Volunteers must be generally healthy, not immunocompromised in any way, and have no exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, coughing, shortness of breath) in the past two weeks
This in-person volunteer opportunity will incorporate social distancing measures for both volunteers and pantry clients to ensure that we deliver vital support in the safest way possible.
